When you are viewing a Windows folder that contains your photos, you will see thumbnail images of your photos. If you would like to add a photo to a particular Snapact album, simply highlight/select the photo with your left mouse button. Once the thumbnail photo has been select (indicated by a box around the thumbnail image), click on the thumbnail and hold the left mouse button. While still holding the left mouse button down, drag the photo in to the Snapact Album that you wish to place the photo in. Once you have “dragged and dropped” the photo into the Snapact Album, you can click on that specific Snapact Album to see if your photo has been added. If it was not added, simply repeat the same “drag and drop” process again.
You can add a photo to a single Snapact Album or to multiple Snapact Albums or sub-albums. One of the great features of Snapact Photo Manager is that you can add a single photo to multiple albums without having to actually copy and paste the photo into multiple albums (which actually uses up more hard drive space because you are actually making multiple copies of the photo). Snapact Photo Manager uses album referencing technology which allows Snapact Photo Manager to reference the original location of the photo on your computer’s hard drive and apply those references to the Snapact Albums that contain the specific photo.
Why album referencing technology? Well, for starters, it allow Snapact users to add a single photo to multiple Snapact Albums without having to actually copy and paste each photo into each Snapact Album thereby using up more hard drive space and consuming the user’s time. By using album referencing technology, you can easily remove a photo from a single Snapact Album or from all Snapact Albums that contain the photo with a simple click of a button. Removing photos from Snapact Albums does not delete the photo from the computer’s hard drive or send the photo to the “Recycle Bin”.
